History

Background

Since Pecomark was established in 1961, the company’s main aim has been to offer distribution services for components, accessories and tools in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, always using refrigeration installers and small refrigeration equipment manufacturers, and focusing mainly on the Spanish market.

Business Activity

After starting with just one branch in Madrid and another in Barcelona, new sales outlets have gradually opened. Pecomark now has 28 branches in Spain, covering all the main areas on the peninsula, as well as the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands.

Midway through the 90's the internationalisation process began with the incorporation of the Le Froid group, which currently has 10 branches in France.

At the same time, an industrial activity was set up in 1993 to handle a new line of business resulting from the demand for more technically sophisticated products. This basically involved offering pre-assembled components to the installer, creating made-to-measure assemblies in order to facilitate the installation of refrigeration systems.

Eventually, in 2005 there was an expansion into the Portuguese market, starting with the creation of Pecomark Portugal Lda, of which there are now two branches. The development of our activities has always been based on providing the best possible service to the customer, offering a comprehensive stock of the best brands on the market, supported by local sales services and personalised technical advice for the optimum selection of components.

The Pecomark group currently employs a team of around 350 staff who are highly qualified for each of the different functions within the company.
